Our teas are not a catalogue of things to buy. They are a record of Ilam's seasons: the rain, the altitude, the hands that pluck, and the decisions made in our factory each morning.
Gorkha Classic is where our estate story becomes a cup: orthodox leaf rolled slowly, fired with care and made to be returned to every day. Its bright copper colour and warm malt character are the signature of our hillside.
No two harvests are quite alike. Tender spring shoots become an aromatic, light cup; summer warmth brings muscatel depth; the youngest silver tips are left almost untouched. We follow what the leaf gives us instead of asking every season to taste the same.
After making comes grading: an exacting craft of separating leaf by size and style. A broken leaf gives a brisk, generous brew; a tippy whole leaf unfolds slowly; green leaf is pan-fired to hold on to the fresh feeling of the garden.
Six teas, each with its own season, method and place in the story of Sundarpani.

Rinse your teapot or cup with hot water, then empty it.
Start with 2–3 grams of loose leaf for every 200 ml of water.
Use 75–85°C water for green or white tea and 90–95°C for black tea.
Begin at 2–3 minutes for green tea and 3–4 minutes for black tea.
Strain completely, taste, and adjust the next infusion to your preference.

In the Ilam hills, cool mountain mornings slow the leaf and deepen its aroma. Grown organically with no synthetic inputs, every pluck is selected by hand and crafted in small lots to preserve the clarity, fragrance and texture of the garden.
